The launch of Complete Resourcing was motivated by Gordon’s passion for developing and growing businesses.

With over 22 years working with investors and companies across a range of sectors, Gordon is also experienced as a mentor and coach.

Over the last 12 months, Gordon has built key relationships with a small number of best-of-breed partners to allow Complete Resourcing to broaden our service offerings, providing a more comprehensive service to our customers.

In addition to developing and managing Complete Resourcing, Gordon still has a hands-on role in delivering assignments. Covering everything from management, due-diligence, assessment, organisational design and recruitment of C-Level and non-executive directors, Gordon can boast a 100% track record for successful delivery.


Complete Resourcing’s second founder, Sarah has over 20 years of management experience in the hi-tech industries.

With a strong background in project and programme management, she is also responsible for ensuring that all assignments are delivered on time and project reporting is completed and delivered in line with the milestones.


Hazel joined Complete Resourcing with over 20 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition and Consulting with an emphasis on commercially focused roles across the spectrum, from blue chips to startups in a range of market sectors.

She sees communication as key and is passionate about getting under the skin of every client, building relationships to understand what makes them tick and to equip her to deliver the very best people for each business.

As part of the Complete Resourcing team, she is excited to be helping build high-growth businesses, game changers, cool vendors, the best new places to be and developing international reach across the USA and EMEA.


Sara joined Complete Resourcing following a 20 year career in Management within various sectors. She has a wealth of experience in negotiating and relationship building at varied levels and is working as part of the team to deliver senior level recruitment campaigns to high growth, early-stage and venture capital backed business.

Her general business experience from outside the recruitment industry proves invaluable when building empathy and long-term relationships at senior executive level. Sara is passionate about helping to build exciting, high-growth business and this is reflected in her commitment to ensuring she delivers accurate shortlists of the highest calibre, most suitable individuals for our clients.


Ian developed most of his career in finance with both large and early-stage businesses before moving into recruitment in 2008.

Since joining the business, Ian has developed an exceptional capability for sourcing candidates, delivering complex recruitment assignments in both life science and ICT markets.

Ian has a strong track record recruiting at all levels and has built a reputation for excellence in delivery, building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.Ian’s strong attention-to-detail and his ability to quickly understand the specific requirements of clients means that he has consistently recruited high-calibre individuals who have added real value to our clients and their investors.

More recently Ian has played a key role in managing a large part of a Recruitment Process Outsource, where over the past 12 months we have successfully recruited in excess of 150 scientists for one of the UK’s fastest growing life sciences businesses.

Sebastian Kerridge – Consultant

Sebastian joined Complete Resourcing through our graduate scheme and has rapidly progressed into a top-flight consultant, having played a key role in the successful delivery of a number of high-profile assignments.

He has developed a reputation for excellent customer engagement, quickly understanding the exact requirements of the business and developing long-term relationships based on successful delivery.

Sebastian is currently undertaking a part-time Masters in Organisational Psychology alongside his role, and uses his knowledge of organisational design and workplace optimisation to assist his clients in creating the best management teams and company structures.


Joanna joined Complete Resourcing as a recent graduate, and spent her first year working as a researcher on headhunting assignments, developing her knowledge of the start-up arena and the latest technologies within a range of market sectors.

She then moved into marketing, and is currently responsible for developing our marketing strategy and processes.

Joanna runs the market analysis team, working with consultants to ensure that they have an in-depth understanding of new and existing clients’ market sector and competitive arena.

The team are also continually mapping market development and changes in a number of our target sectors, to make sure consultants have the most up to date information within their specialised fields.

Complete Resourcing has a wealth of experience within the start-up arena, and Joanna co-ordinates our thought leadership programme, which aims to share this advice with young start-ups. This programme involves CRSI consultants attending and speaking at events, running advice sessions and workshops, and running sessions at a number of UK accelerators throughout Scotland, the Midlands and the North.

She is working to develop Complete Resourcing’s online presence, including developing our website, creating content across a number of platforms and developing our social media strategy.

She also helps to develop internal business processes and systems, and has been responsible for developing and implementing a new CRM system, and in reshaping other internal processes to make them more efficient and client-focussed.


Our team of analysts and researchers come from a variety of backgrounds, including our intake for our structured graduate training programme.

They work closely with the delivery consultants on a range of assignments conducting market research, analysis, candidate sourcing and implementation.

In addition (as with all our consultants) each analyst or researcher takes ownership of internal projects to ensure we are continually developing and enhancing our services in line with the needs of our clients and the market.



Lisa Thomson, the CEO of Purpose HR, is experienced in establishing HR
functions and people management and development frameworks within
high-growth, entrepreneurial technology companies. She is also an alumni
of the Entrepreneurial Scotland Saltire Fellowship programme, a
Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and a
qualified Executive business coach and recently Programme Manager for
Scotland Can Do SCALE an international entrepreneurship leaders
development programme.

Lisa’s early career professional experience included working in a
global semiconductor engineering business post-IPO with c.500 staff, a
family-owned global helpdesk software technology company with 250 staff,
and supporting the growth and organisational development of a healthcare
technology and services company from inception to post-investment

As Director for Scotland for Startup Grind, Lisa also runs monthly networking events for entrepreneurs and founders across Scotland. In March 2015 Lisa was honoured to be invited to be one of 5 founding members of the Entrepreneurial Scotland Future Leaders network and to speak at the launch event held at
Edinburgh Castle.
