Complete Resourcing is delighted to have been shortlisted for the Bionow Business Services Award for 2017.
Complete Resourcing were shortlisted for their work with a number of Northern biomedical companies and the wider investment community.
Complete Resourcing’s difference is that they form long-term strategic partnerships with their clients, offering mentoring and advice as well as organisational design, board design and recruitment, end-to-end resourcing management and access to a wide network of investors.
For example, one case study involved a Manchester-based company who initially received several one-to-one mentoring sessions with MD Gordon Bateman as part of a post-accelerator workshop programme. Gordon then worked with the company to help them design a strategic organisational plan to support their upcoming expansion plans. The company are now implementing this plan, with Complete Resourcing as their resourcing partner.
Complete Resourcing also run Investor Ladder, an invite-only membership network for investors, accelerators and deal-flow providers. Investor Ladder helps build relationships between investors within the North and wider UK, and encourages investments within Northern companies. For example, two Manchester-based life sciences companies pitches at the September Investor Ladder event. According to one of the companies, access to such a high quality of investors was invaluable and resulted in a number of meetings with investors – “more than [they] had achieved in the previous two months of fundraising!”
Gordon Bateman, Managing Director of Complete Resourcing said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award, which is a testament to the hard work of the team throughout this year. Northern life sciences companies are at the forefront of their field in many arenas, and we are privileged to support them in designing and growing organisations that will enable successful growth.
Having worked with Bionow for several years, we really appreciate the sterling work that Geoff has done in building and supporting this community so well. Bionow is an integral part of the Northern life sciences scene, and has contributed greatly to its growth.”
Bionow is a not-for-profit membership organisation for the life sciences sector across the North, and uses its influence to drive collaboration, increase investment and promote the North of England’s vibrant biomedical sector.
Geoff Davison, chief executive of Bionow, said: “This year’s awards demonstrates once again how the Northern life sciences are continuing to flourish. We have a breadth of business, academic excellence, depth of expertise and investment in specialist infrastructure to rival anything that any other UK region can offer. The Bionow Awards recognise its successes and achievements and we look forward to celebrating on the night.”
